What you get for £6 a month
- 2 GB of RAM, 1 core of CPU and 10 GB of disk, all your own.
- Unlimited player slots. We never cap or charge for slots.
- A daily automatic backup, 2 backup slots, and manual backups.
- DDoS protection and a London server.
- The full web panel: live console, file manager, SFTP, plugins and mods, schedules.
- Paper, Vanilla, Fabric or Forge, and Modrinth modpacks from the panel.
- Support tickets answered by a real person.
That's the whole product, not a cut-down trial. Bigger plans just have more RAM, CPU and disk.
What 2 GB is good for
As a guide, Krill 1 runs a Paper server with a few plugins smoothly for about 5 to 10 players. That suits a small group of friends. Modpacks are hungrier, and most want at least 4 GB, so a modded server usually belongs on a bigger plan. Player slots are unlimited, but RAM is what decides how many people can play smoothly.
No hidden fees, and a price that never goes up
The price on the plan is the price you pay. There is no setup fee, and checkout shows one line: the plan. Your price is locked while you stay subscribed, monthly or yearly. If you change plan, you pay the price of the plan you move to. The only extra we sell is optional: managed setup, where we install plugins and set up ranks for you, is a one-off £20.

Bigger plans cost a little less per GB. We're not the cheapest per GB around. Some hosts advertise less, usually with a first-month discount or annual billing. Our price is the same every month. See the comparison for the details.
Yearly billing
Pay yearly and you get two months free: Krill 1 is £60 a year instead of £72. Monthly is the default and you can cancel any time.
Keeping the cost down
- Start small. You can upgrade in a few clicks and pay only the pro-rated difference.
- Use Paper, which is tuned for performance, and lower the view distance before you buy more RAM.
- Remove plugins you do not use.

Changing your mind
Cancel any time from Billing in your account, and your server runs until the end of the period you paid for. Cancel within 14 days and you pay only for what you used. On a first order you can ask for a full refund within 48 hours. Read the refund policy for the exact terms.
