Refund policy

Last updated: November 2026. This explains your refund and cancellation rights when you buy from KrillCloud (run by [OWNER LEGAL NAME], [CONTACT ADDRESS]). To ask for a refund, use the contact form or email support@krillcloud.com from the address you bought with.

Your 14-day right to cancel

If you are a UK consumer, you normally have 14 days from buying a digital service to cancel and get a full refund. For a hosted server you can give this up only if you expressly ask us to start the service straight away and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once the service has started. That is what the box you tick at checkout says. Your acknowledgement and the time you gave it are recorded with your order.

Refunds within 14 days

If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment we refund the payment pro rata: you pay only for the days the service was available to you, and the rest is returned. Managed setup is dealt with separately, below.

After 14 days

You can cancel at any time and will not be charged again, and the server runs to the end of the month you have paid for. We do not refund part months after the first 14 days, and renewals are not refunded once the new month has started. If we cannot provide the service you paid for, or it is not as described, your legal rights still apply and we will put it right, or refund you where the law requires.

Plan changes

Upgrades are charged for the rest of the month. Downgrades are credited on your next invoice, not paid back to your card.

Managed setup (£20)

The one-off managed setup fee is refundable in full if you ask before we have started the work. Once we have started it is not refundable, except where the work was not done with reasonable care and skill.

Not refunded

Servers suspended or terminated for breaking the acceptable use policy or the terms, and charges that are the subject of a chargeback (see the terms), are not refunded.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original card through Stripe, normally within 14 days of us agreeing the refund, though your bank may take 5 to 10 working days to show it.
